i would bet money that their the same. just someone has the #'s wrong (or they both do). and the ford racing one is more expensive for 2 reasons... 1) your buying it from ford directly. 2) it comes with more parts.

if you want to run the stock shift **** go with ford racing, but it will cost you an extra 100 bucks to do so.
+1. I searched around a lot before I orderd mine and found throw reduction numbers anywhere from 35-50% on the exact same hurst part#.

Why would you want the stock shifter ***? The white ball on the Hurst really sets the interior ofthe car apart from the rest imo.
