Sounds like the same shifter they make for every other car. My dad has one in a Biscayne. Basically if you put it in drive its like normal. If you drop it into low 1 and go, all you have to do is hit it and it goes into the next gear and locks. It will not go any farther, just one gear at a time. Also in order to go into reverse, you have to lift up on a lever.

its a shifter for an auto trans s197. its really a worthless mod as far as performance goes. the only thing i could immagine anyone could benifet from it is appearance. and even then i'm guessing because i cant even find a pic online. in my opinion the money is more effectivly spent on a tune, because thats the only way you will get that trans to shift faster.
