it's a 5 digit code, the chance of someone getting the code right and getting in your car is slim to none
slim to none my a$$ ,,,more like within 1-5 minutes...i thought the same thing until he (a cop) showed me how easy it is..he did it to my marauder twice and random cars at a dealership......but i wouldn't be worried about it behind the fuel door,,,besides if someone really wants in-there going to get in...

you guys dont like having it in your pocket? my 05 f150 had it on the handle,i used it one time,just to make sure it actually worked,other than that i always use my keyfob.

Paul, it has his benefits...
Sometimes you don't want to carry your keys with you so you lock them in your car.
When I play soccer, I don't want to leave them on the side of the field in my sport bag, so nobody gets them.
