I've heard a lot about the iPod adaptor causing crazy electrical problems. Most seem to have it solved by uninstalling the iPod adaptor. I have been reluctant to get one because of this, though I really wish I could use my ipod as the skipper500 lives up to its name with burned cds.

How old is your peripherial? I had one that I too had to remove from my mustang (gave me numerous dash errors including gas level, abs, etc). Peripherial eventually recalled them and took the 2005+ mustangs off of their compatability chart.

They only recently have supposedly re-released them for our mustangs. If you have an old one (I'd say more than two or three months), I would contact them. I did and got a complete refund from them even though I bought mine at Best Buy.

If it is one you have just purchased and installed lately, I would definately fire off an email to them explaining the problems.

yup. i had the dash error problems with my old Peripheral. posted many times on this issue. it was the model before the "iSimple" product line came out. it was discontinued due to the major malfunctions. looks like they are still going down the same route with problems. what a shame. the unit worked awesome up until the major dash error messages.

exactly the same here.. i just unplug the negative cable from the battery and let all reset. can't seem to let it go, it works like a champ other than once in a while the gauges bug out. well like many items in the car is crap.

example:
Radio
water leakage
batery
gas tank
suspension
dash squeaks and rattle
seats
seat belts
and many more....What you expect its a FORD then they wonder why they're in the red!
Just do a search on the tsb on this car - hope you have enough ink and paper!
But all in all I love my Roush Mustang just wished it was built better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have the PIE adapter and it works fine. Where did you run your 12v and ground? I just tapped into the 12v accessory.
