you just haven't noticed it i'm sure some are more noticable than others.. try what I suggested, run it with a tune for while and then re-flash it I guarantee it will feel faster right off the bat for a while. now i'm not saying that it goes back to "stock" performance after you drive for a while, but it will feel quickest right after a re-flash.
well i reflashed and you were right..I did feel a change in the shifting...lot more aggressive feeling than before...not so much in the gain or loss of power though...maybe its just hard to tell in the automatics...i ordered the gtech pro so maybe i will be able to confirm if there actually is any loss or gains

Therein lies the problem with High-tech computerized cars...the computer thinks it's smarter than you and will automatically make adjustments to its program to fit your 'driving style' If you tune it for hot-and-heavy performance and drive it like you stole it every day, the program will probably make fewer changes... But it can also keep you from making overly agresive mods to the a/r and timing curves that could damage your engine... catch 22.

Seems like this is an interesting quandry. On the one hand, why should the brand of handheld that put the tune into the computer matter? If the computer changes the program, as has been suggested, it would seem that everybody would be reflashing all the time. However, I've not had any problems with the tune "regressing" any, since I put in the Diablo 87 octane tune (GT, stick). Since the over-rev limits are changed by the tune, wouldn't that be one of the first things the computer would change back (since the suggestion is that the computer knows better than we do)? Mine hasn't... at least not in 1000 miles since putting it in. I like the tune that Diablo provided, but I can't make myself believe that any other unit couldn't upload just as good a tune, or that one is susceptible to change by the computer, and the other isn't... I do know that there is quite a bit of discussion in several places that the '05 computer doesn't "learn" like previous years (you know, figure out to adjust for the vapor trap being removed - we used to just unhook the battery & the computer would figure it out when reconnected). That seems to be the opposite of what this post was originally about - very confusing.
