Just not quite sure why anyone would want to make an American muscle car look like a riced out Honda from "Fast and Furious". They don't even put those doors on lambos anymore.

I think you will find that most Mustang owner feel that vertical doors are 100% rice - period.
In fact they are the definition of rice - folowed closely by the giant wing.
If you go on a honda forum though I am sure they will draw the envy of ricers everywhere.

Sorry pal,
You're still just coming across as an insecure a**. Grow up and move on.

uhh... im not sure if all Hondas are rice...

why don't you race an S2000 at a track. I'm sure you'll get raped..
Just because they don't make ridiculous amounts of power, doesn't mean they are crappy cars.

and if you watched this video, you would see that spoilers do serve a purpose.

maybe you should stop being a jerk, and start to appreciate things, rather than hate on them.

IT'S COOL TO HAVE AN OPINION MAN BUT DAM! NO NEED TO BE A D!CK ABOUT IT -- ANSWER THE OP QUESTION AN MOVE ON. I PERSONALLY DONT LIKE THEM AND IF YOU DONT THATS ALL YOU HAD TO SAY. THE OP IS BUILDING HIS STANG FOR HIMSELF AND TO HIS LIKING, NOT YOURS.

I hear Uncle Ben can install lambo doors on your Honda (er..Mustang) and you can add soy sauce as required.
Please don't forget some giant decals and maybe a wing shaped like a park bench.

I've seen at least one kit that opens as both regular and "lambo" style. Maybe that would be something to look into. Be careful what kit you choose, cause i've heard that the quality can be terrible on some. Good luck whatever you choose.

Wow, thanks for the feedback for those that were helpful. Indeed the kit I'm looking at does open regular and vertical. The hinges are not universalbut made specifically for the 05-08 stang and are fairly inexpensive - its the installation that is a lot. I've found a place in florida that has done 24 05-08mustangsto date (no leakingor fender rolling needed)and is under $2500 but thatsa bit of a drive. It also can be converted back to stock. Anyhow thanks again and pls PM me if anyone has any details on a shop.

And as for my desire to go with the vertical doors, ha, when I saw that Vista Blue GT/CS on the lot sitting there I knew I had to buy the thing on the spot and apart from the SLP's and CAI, I knew the first mod was going to be the doors.I have received a lot helpful advice on these boards so Im happy to take the comments and I obviously recognize that lambo doors dont scream American muscle but I like what I like and it is what it is!
