I don't care if you're Chip Foose or the King of Arabia, that labor rate is pure rape, unless of course, it comes with a daily BJ for a period of 2 years or something...

I am also sure that you don't need to go to FL to find a decent laborrate for that mod[8D].
After all, what's involved in the labor? Doors removal/reinstall and swap of hinge system with wiring harness extention.

Usually audio shops do lambo doors too,i no a spot named audio planet that does them there in huntington L.I theres also a few spots bye shea stadium that does them but youll probebly get robbed in that area no matter who or how big you are.

Who sells a kit that opens both ways and how much? I'm not a big fan of the look but do like the idea of not needing a lot of space to get the door open. It never seems to fail that someone has to park so close that I can't get in the car.

I will say that asking in the original post to not get rice comments will attract them. I thought about making a comment myself but I know I'm an a$$hole.

 

Damn straight it'll attract them. If a mustang was supposed to have doors like that it would have come like that from factory... There is a fine line in tuning imho. And lambo doors cross that line. If it doesn't look like it could have come from factory, it's not supposed to be on a stang.

And 5k for the install is insane. I'd put that money towards a supercharger or other performance parts. Parts that actually help your mustang. Doors... are just an opening to get in your car. And you are not fooling anyone with lambo doors. You are still driving a mustang, not some Italian thoroughbred.
