I saw HorsePower TV dyno a bone stock 07 at 265HP before they started moding it. Sounds about average for an 05-07 GT with stick.

What is a factory 1/4 mile time on them? How do they compare to the ls1, I mean I have had 3 Ls1's and honestly they felt a little faster. The mustand has way more torque but on all the Ls1's I had, once you hit 3300 rpm that thing was GONE!

not sure where you got that it has more torque than an LS1.. but anyway, LS1s make anywhere from 300-325rwhp bone stock.. of course it's faster.

As I stated I have owned 3. A 98 ta a 00 ss and an 01 vette. NONE of them had any torque down low. I didnt mean that the stang has more torque sorry. Just alot more ***** down low. The quality of this mustang outweighs any Ls1 I have owned.

I will agree about the quality. I sold my 02 WS6 to get this car and it felt like a child's toy compared to the Stang.. though the LS1 is a remarkable motor.

Your cars had plenty of torque, they just had sucky *** gears!!!!! The 2005-2006 gt manuals come with 3.55's stock. I don't think chevy offered anything more than 3.27 and that was a option, not standard. The ls1 has some 60 more cubic inches, so of course it makes more power.
