Default 3.55 vs 3.73

Wouldthere bemuch of a difference switching from 3.55s to 3.73s in normal everyday driving? The 3.55s are great and I'm not sure I want to change them out, but just toying with options. I drive about 50 miles each day on the highway and don't want the 4.10s from what I've read about them... but don't want to jump to the 3.73s if they aren't going to change the 'seat of the pants' feel on accelleration.

I had the 3.31 last week and switched to the 3.73 and you can definatly feel a difference but nothing to drastic in my opinion, I'd say stick with the 3.55s for now.

"Seat of the pants" ? Don`t know as I haven`t done it butit`s only a 5% difference. 2000rpm becomes 2100 etc.Seems unlikely, but I`ve been wrong before..

I've been wondering about this as well. I have 3.31 in mine and would like to go with 3.55 or 3.73 if they don't really impact hiway driving. It will be interesting to hear some opinions.

There is also 3.90, which is what I will probably do eventually. Pro 5.0 makes 3.90 gears if you don't want Motive.

How about for supercharged applications? I am thinking of getting charged and have 4.10's, and I worry.

^ I heard you can go with a vortec/paxton unit and could still be able to hook up.

To the OP - 4.10's. Cruise at 80mph in 5th and be just under 3K. That ain't bad at all.
