Qusus,

I have a set of OEM 18" Fanblades with mounted BFG 245/50ZR-18's for sales at a great price. The tires have 12k miles on them. PM if interested.

On tirerack, my optional size is listed as the 235-50-18. I would think Ford knows what they want on their OEM wheels.
Yes, if you look up the original tire size by searching through the make and model of your car it says the original tire size is 235-50-18. However, if you look up the specific wheel on tire rack (thats the link I provided) it says a slightly different size. Either way, I'm going with the 235-50-18 stockers.

Why? Just plain stupid anyway you look at it. Zero reason not to go with 255/45/18. But to say it bluntly. Stupid move!

I don't think I'd throw around the S word too much on here. He has his own reasons for doing what he does.

I have stock 18", 8.5" widefan blades with the stock 235/50 tires. YUCK! I just bought 9.5" wide rims so I can step up to 275's...

235's seem like training wheels after awhile...

OK, what to put on the 18" x 8.5" stock polished bullitts
that had 235/50-18s on them? I would like wider and taller
tires. But stay as close to 700- 740 revs per mile. Whats
the widest recommended in a 50 series for 18 x 8.5 rims?

235/50R18 STOCK
9.251" WIDE
27.245" TALL
85.595" ROUND
740 REVS / MILE

245/50R18
9.645" WIDE
27.645" TALL
86.851" ROUND
729 REVS / MILE

245/55R18
9.645" WIDE
28.610" TALL
89.881" ROUND
705 REVS / MILE

255/50R18
10.039" WIDE
28.039" TALL
88.088" ROUND
719 REVS / MILE

I think the best tire size for the fanblades are 255/45r18, I would get with goodyear F1 A/S tires, but thats me

Wow, thats crazy. I'm assuming she is ok, physically. I dont think too many would be ok mentally after something like that. Dunno how I would be if I was in that situation.

Yeah I was out drinkin with some friends last night, was a good time obviously, lol.

+1 fanblades or the 18" bullitts, on the 255/45/18.
