Default Door Welt/Piping?

Did a search, couldn't find it. But I thought I remembered a thread that had a bunch of different places to get it. If anybody could send me in the tright direction, that would be great. Thanks in advance

all ican tell ya is that i got mine from mr.mikes - http://mrmikes.com/trimbright.htm

i purchased the tinsel - and tbh, i thought it looked cheap-o. i ended up taking it all out after two days. oh well; it was only $20.

I thought it looked cheap also. Had to keep pushing it back into the crevices.

Trashed it.

I got 5 yards of silver that matched the IUP dash nice for $.99 per yd at a local fabric store. Nice mod for $5.00

I have had good luck with mine. It stays in place and doesn't come out of the slot. I trimmed mine some so it would go inside where the slot was to shallow and that worked great.

Here is one link I found. I know there are more though.

Ditto you have to trim it down in order for it to fit flush and look factory. On the backside of the trim that you will be sticking into the groove there are little slashes for sewing it into upholstery I trimmed mine where those little slashes stopped. and then it fits in super flush with the door panel and looks great. I would agree when i first installed it , it looked like **** then i trimmed it down and it made all the difference in the world.

See in the picture below

Curious, do you have the IUP? If not, it will not stay in properly.I haven't had any trouble with mine since I put it in this past summer.

Would a place like Michael's or Jo-Ann fabrics have this stuff?
