The cable that come with the Predator7140 or 7145 is NOT a USB cable, the cable to the OBD port is permanently attached to the unit and the cable u need to download/upload software revisions is a serial cable. Check the manual.

so, im getting this intake and tuner and i just wanna make sure i got all the things i need to install and make it run correctl...so, the tuner itself gets plugged into my car....and it comes w/3 tunes that are already programmed toit...so im guesssing i can use those tunes BUT at some point im going to want to DL tunes from Bama (buy them first obviously)...so what cord will i need to buy? i am on the diablosport website and there are two things they show..

an interface kit...and an interface kit w/ serial port.....so thats what confuses me...

the intake and tuner i bought was from a guy who had an 07gt .....thats what i have also

I use this to update my diablo tuner and i also used it when i bought my bama race tune. Its super easy to use.
