It's also called Welt. I did mine this past summer....very easy! All you need is a pair of scissors. Just remember, you may have to trim some ofit off in order for it to sit flush. I had to trim mine some around the corners.

Also did it to mine. Went with the Red on Black. Originally wanted blue to match the blue interior glow, but couldn't find one that pleased me so I went with the red. Easy fix, just switch the interior glow to red. The ones on the roof were just experiments which turned out really nicely. Didn't want to make it tacky.. Installing is a piece of cake. You just push it in between the cracks. I've heard it is nearly impossible to do it unless you have the IUP.

How in the WORLD do I change the interior glow in my car? It's a greenish color, and if I could make it blue, that would be much better
Excuse my idiocy -- but what is a IUP?
Lastly, is there a certain length I should get? 20 feet / 30 feet?
