It's also called Welt. I did mine this past summer....very easy! All you need is a pair of scissors. Just remember, you may have to trim some ofit off in order for it to sit flush. I had to trim mine some around the corners.

I bought the 'tinsel' welt. Looked cheap.

Ended up in the trash.

Hey J, I have some left over from mine if you want it. Let me know. You can see on the floor in the photo, I had a lot left over. Plenty to do the doors.

I love mine, I think it really helps breakup the all black door. See link above for pics of it in my car.

Also did it to mine. Went with the Red on Black. Originally wanted blue to match the blue interior glow, but couldn't find one that pleased me so I went with the red. Easy fix, just switch the interior glow to red. The ones on the roof were just experiments which turned out really nicely. Didn't want to make it tacky.. Installing is a piece of cake. You just push it in between the cracks. I've heard it is nearly impossible to do it unless you have the IUP.

Check out the links above, you'll see how it goes in. It just slides in the gap between the door panels. No glue or anything.

A few questions:

How in the WORLD do I change the interior glow in my car? It's a greenish color, and if I could make it blue, that would be much better

Excuse my idiocy -- but what is a IUP?

Lastly, is there a certain length I should get? 20 feet / 30 feet?

-thanks-
