You can just turn your parking brake lights on everytime you get in the car.

I would for the price they are asking.

It's necessary only if your state requires them....VA does not. I believe in Canada you have to have them.

+1. On my Canadian Mustang the running lights (just dim headlights; no corner markers or anything) come on automatically as soon as I release the parking brake.

If your local law doesn't require them, why would you bother?

Cause it makes ur mustang look just a little cooler when ur flyin down the road! Its like running fog lights when theres no fog, it just looks cool. (atleast i think so) Although, i believe its illegal in california to drive with PLs on. (then again whod know)

Well.. it's not that I don't have the sense to... i would just forget! When I had to have my smart junction box replaced the dealership didn't do things right and I ended up with friggin DRL... I go to work in the morning when it's still dark... couple of times I would simply forget to turn the headlights on because the DRLs were on and they were actually pretty bright in the driveway... real PITA... Finally got the dealership to turn them off!

Most all GM vehicles have DRLs, the trucks have clear ones but i see ambers on their mini vans, vettes and caddys. I've been stopped in my ex vette and ex avalanche both by cops who didn't realize DRLs existed and wanted to ticket me for driving with my parking lights on.

I just flip the ol headlight switch to the PL position
and thats all I need. I hate automatic stuff thats
OEM installed. Its my Stang and I can control it
by myself, thank you Ford.
Dont get me started on those automatic door locks...[:@]
