Mods are in sig- CAI and 93 tune by Bama. Can someone shed the light.

Aslong as you have cats on there you should be okay but just load the stock tune just to make sure?

You should be good as long as the tune didn't turn of the rear o2 sensors. The rear o2s are just to make sure that the cats are working. If you go without the cats, you wont get a check engine light if the rear sensors are turned off.

My tune from brenspeed had the rear 02s disabled and i flunked down here in pa. Got new tune, loaded it, passed.

Down here if you fail, you have 10 (i think) days to bring it back with the problem corrected and not get charged twice. At least that's what my dealership told me, not exactly sure if thats a law or its just their policy.

Just came back from getting mine done (in PA) took off CAI reflashed back to stock and did not pass. Said not ready for testing. I have to go back to get a newmaster cyl.cap,that was leaking, next week. They just said put some miles on it, retest it, and it will be o.k. Good luck!

As "Metal Man" learned, there are two thing you need to know about he OBD-II port test: 1) emissions systems must be "ready"; 2) no CELs. What being "ready" means is the systems have been monitoring for a period of time, thus the recommendation to drive the car around for a while. Several start/stop drive cycles. The reason for this is to prevent someone, whose car is throwing CELs, from clearing them with a tuner or disconnecting the battery right before they go in for the test.

be careful about putting the stock tune back on with the CAI. Most require a tune and will throw up codes with the stock tune. If you are going back to the stock tune, put the stock CAI back on.

I passed nspection with the C&L and the C&L 87 performance tune.

i sometimes depends on who does the inpsection b/c i had a tuner on my truck and one place wouldnt do it, so i brought it to another place and it worked for them and they said that the other place probly didnt have the lastest software for the inspection
