When your stationed overseas you just don't have the luxury of going to other dealers! Unless of course your willing to pay 42,000 euros for an automatic German spec GT (Thats what a german Ford dealer is selling his for, and yes he has one sitting in his showroom)
Waiting: I may have you all beat
I ordered 29 Jan 05, I was told Apr 15 it would be ready. I just got a e-mail from the ford rep, and it may not be ready till Jun[:@] BUT I'm getting $150 Rebate for each week after the 15 Apr Scheduled delivery date.

I'm on 5 weeks... still clear and unsheduled.
This order stuff seems pretty much like a Vegas Slot Machine Pull. PURE Luck weather you wait 7 weeks for your car or 7 months.
I wonder if you throw money or hot women at the sales guy if you could speed up the process!
LOL..

I've been waiting 6 weeks.
Area: Elgin Il.
There have not been many around here. Yeah, alot of V6's
There seem to be alot of variables from what I have been reading here in the forum. Dealer status, i.e. large volume dealer or small, dealer allotment, order priority. It would be nice if Ford dealt with orders as first come first served. It doesn't seem fair that someone has waited 19 weeks and someone else gets theirs in 4.

I ordered my car through the Exchange Military Car Sales in Puerto Rico back in November and I still dont have the car. Did the dealer make a personal deal with you for the $150 weekly rebate after your scheduled delivery date or is that standard for military dealers. The only thing I was told by my salesman was that I would get my entire deposit if the car was not here when told.

"Although we are not liable to compensate for such delays, as stated in Item
II, Section E in the Terms and Conditions on your Buyer's Offer, we are
willing to provide compensation as a good will gesture. If you are willing
to accept an open ended delivery date, we are offering
compensation/discount of $150 per week past April 15 to a maximum of $750.
The compensation/discount is contingent upon delivery."
Hope this helps
