The s197 looks way better, but if you want pure speed go for the 03 cobra. I was asking the same question a couple of years ago. I have an 05 gt now and no regrets!

 

Why not just get an 08 GT, save up a little bit and buy a completely assembled forged block and then throw on a supercharger? You could throw down some crazy numbers, have someting unique, and still have the best of both worlds wtih power and looks

 

Maybe the term drive it like you stole it was a lil harsh but my point is enjoy the car nowfor what it is, don't leave it in a vaccum sealed garage just to look for a big payday in 30 in yrs.These cars may be a dime a dozen but I def enjoy mine andhopefullyI'mfortunate enough to hold on to mine for years to come.

 

What you just said does sound good and well, buut That would cost alot more money than just buying a 26k Terminator.

It may take more money, but hey he didn't really specify his budget to spend. saw terminators even more xpesnive than 35k, and I bought my 07 GT for $26000 brand new special ordered...and that was before i traded in my car for $17k more off the 26k price, so really it's not that bad if you could space it out and sell what you need to or had the money...kind of a blank question to start this thread...

 

i do like the cobras but i think it will be hard to fine one with low miles and it was probly beat on big time but if you can fine one thats good they you cant go wrong with either one, i got mine b/c i wanted a brand new car and i love it

Those quad cams are just pure music and the S/Cwhine is like a solo after the break.
