Default duals

so when i converted over to duals i did it myself - ever since its been held on with band clamps and the tips weren't straight. oh, and thee was a rattle somewhere... i live down in FL and the cheapest quote i could get to fix it was 180. crazy.

so i'm up in NC where i grew up and took my stang to a local muffler shop - told me 25 bucks to weld everything up.
my mustang was on a lift for just over an hour, welded everything up, did some cutting, rewelding the brackets and aligned the tips. after it was all done he said go inside tell em 25 dollars. i was expecting it to still be more - an hours worth of labor..

i gave him 20 and went inside and paid the lady 25. i miss small town shops.

ya.. thats awesome.. where in carolina?.. the thing thats different about those places, compared to like muffler man, or mr. muffler, or any of those places down here.. up there, they are probably slow as hell if its in a real small town, so they are willing to take anyhting.. where here, or atleast in orlando, they are stacked every day.. and they are really able to charge out the *** bc no one can do it themsleves, and it is 99% profit.. your paying them bc of the skill they know, not bc of material, or anything like that.. insane..

i just had to get my cats welded back into their origional place for 80.. prolly took him 30 mins..

but w/e.. i cant weld, so i cant complain
