Default Double Din Nav/Media

I'm looking for a double din in dash unit that is maybe a bit cheaper than the Pioneer Avic D3 or Z2. Any suggestions?

With the current rebate on the D3 you would be hard pressed to find a QUALITY double din any cheaper.

Heck, right now you can even buy it from ANY Best Buy for 699.00

Now, you can't get the 200.00 rebate for that price. Some reports have come in to say that Crutchfield is honoring the rebate even with their crazy low price, but I have NOT confirmed this.

Best Buy's website still lists it at $999. Where are you getting it at a Best Buy for $699? I just looked at Crutchfield's website....it's listed for $799 AFTER rebate. They made sure to clarify that.

While we're on the topic, can you use the antenna for the factory Sirius receiver? The guys at Best Buy were under the impression I'd have to buy the aftermarket antenna and wire it that way. But I refuse to do that when I already have the antenna on the trunk.

I have a Kenwood DDX-6019. I love the unit. Right now mine is stock but I am planning on hooking it up to an IPod Adaptor and Sirius. I got mine for $530 but it doesn't come with nav. You can get an extra piece that will give it nav but I have no clue how much that will run you. Other than that, the user interface is great and the picture quality is also top notch. I would recommend the unit but it may not be your cheapest option.

That's weird. Just last week bestbuys site said you had to add the item to your shopping cart to see the crazy low price. When I added it to my cart is said 699.00! Inside my local bestbuy store they had the radio on display clearly marked 699.00.

Yes, you can use your factory sirius antenna on your aftermarket sirius receiver.

LOL I just tried adding it to my shopping cart....still $999 lol damn, could you imagine $699 + a $200 rebate, that'd be nice!

dmhines, so that included everything you need to use it? nav and all? what about linking it to the sirius antenna I already have? I'm not exactly the smartest with this stuff.

Yes that is everything you need for a Mustang install ... except for the 5V resistor MOD if you have a Shaker 500 to prevent the SUB POP. The GPS is built into the Unit .. not an option so yes ... full GPS is included.

If you want Sirius you need to buy the Sirius adapter .. extra $$$
