IIRC D3X/y/any other letter at the end just comes with extra junk you may or may not want (ie reverse camera, ipod cable(a must have ), etc.)

The X includes the Bluetooth module, remote control and iPod Cable ... that is why it costs more ... The actual AVIC-D3 unit itself is identical.

Yes that is everything you need for a Mustang install ... except for the 5V resistor MOD if you have a Shaker 500 to prevent the SUB POP. The GPS is built into the Unit .. not an option so yes ... full GPS is included.

If you want Sirius you need to buy the Sirius adapter .. extra $$$

Sweet setup.

avic-d3 is the best ipod interface ive come across (the main reason I bought it), even tho scrolling through artists is a pain in the @ss (especially when you have 500+ artists...), as is FF'ing through a track since even tho it looks like a touch wheel, it doesnt respond like one... also the Nav is sort of frustrating to use, picks illogical routes, doesnt have all the POIs listed (ones that have even been around for a while), and the recalculation isnt so great, just keeps telling me to make u-turns haha, terribly helpful...

How did you guys get those screen savers downloaded to the receiver? The one of the Ford symbol, and the Mustang?
