Default Smells like burning

Hello,

I had some issues with my CAI and TUNE right now im running stuck, i been reading some issues with the electronic throttle control and some users changed theirs cause they burned.

Sometimes when i run so fast specially if in first gear i reach 5000 RPMs i smell like fried, is not exactly like fire or something just like the engine was running so hard.

Is this normal ?

Is there a way i can see the elctronic throttle is not having any issues when running so fast ?

Thanks

My car is completely stock, and I sometimes get a burning smell, but I don't know what it is. It usually goes away after a while.

I haven't had any problems with mine. I have the C&L. What CAI kits do you all have? That may help your questions too...

See my post here:

https://mustangforums.com/m_4554249/tm.htm

Most said it was the clutch but I am still not convinced - I inadvertently hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear (manual) and got that "smell" for about 25 minutes after. Never shifted so that is why I am not convinced it was the clutch. Running all stock also.

Hope this helps - any other thoughts?

Im having that issue almost daily.

It started when i changed the stock box. I installed C&L Street with Tune from Brenspeed, i had some issues with it(Electronic Throttle Led and Service Engine were on, also Tune wasnt correct) so they asked me to put it back to stuck but the X3 Tune had issues so I called SCT and they asked me for the VIN number i gave the number to them and then they emailed me a stock file. So right now im running stock until Brenspeed will send me a good Tune for Mexico, Since that im smelling a burning smell almost everytime i reach 4500RPMs, I dont remember that smell everytime i ran so fast.

Any ideas please i dont want my car to get burn.

Thanks
