Default Hood Struts???

Okay, my search has ended and I can't find the ones I want so I need some help...

I saw some once, they looked more like a BRACKET than a shock. They appeared to collapse in the middle and aluminum or bullit in color. Any help in locating these would be great.

Don't know about those, but I purchased a set of Redline Tuning Gas Hood Struts. They work great and are not too expensive.

Do you have a stock hood? My shaker is a fiberglass hood and has the weight distributed differently, and the CDC shocks arnt around to hold it up, it feels so close, but still falls. Just something else to watch out for thwn looking around. -Jon

You have the FANG aftermarket hood remember... Mine is the CDC Shaker so I reuse the stock hood...
