That way you can put a motorcylce in the back of the truck. hook up the car trailer and tow the Stang. Drive all over the country like that if you want. But for god sakes dont put a hitch on a Mustang!! I see people driving down the road with a hitch on their Mustang and I just want to pull them from the car and beat them about the head and shoulders.
You can get a good, cheap, used F150 for a couple of thousand $$'s and then you wont have to ask guys like me for help when you need to move a piece of furniture... And then we won't rub it in later...
EVERYONE needs a truck of somekind, sometime....

I use to run a hitch on my mustang all the time back when I was broke (pulled race tires gas and fuel). It serves the purpose I needed it for, but a mustang is not going to pull a 3 seater jet ski unless you have a 05 thats not a subframe.

It is not a matter of the car not being able to pull the ski. It is a matter of the rear springs being able to handle the weight. The car will sag a lot in the rear and bottom out on everything.

I saw one the other day, get this... back seat loaded with "TRASH" not just a bunch of junk but actuall garbage!! Towing a trailer also loaded with trash! The rear end was maybe 3-4 inches off of the ground!
Now I dont care if it was a Muscort or not but you just dont do that! Come On!
If you REALLY want a car but can't help pretending like its a truck, buy a friggin El Camino! Then at least people won't laugh and point... And I wont make fun of you in the forums!!!
And I know how NO ONE wants me to make fun of them on the forums!! (Sensitive Cry Babies! [])
