Default limp mode today

today i started the car up and let it warm up. i started to drive down the road and once i got up to around 55mph i felt my car shutter while cruising. then realised the little wrench light came on and that i couldnt rev it past 4500 rpms? i shut the car off and restarted it and it was fine. any reason my car did that? will it happen again?

Hmmm, you have no tune to go with the exhaust work. I would say it was running very rich and threw a wobbler as a result.

So get a tune. Better yet, CAI + Tune from Brenspeed/Bama/VMP.

+1 CAI and tune from brenspeed. they custom your tune for the new intake + your exhaust setup. Id go with a Steeda or a C&L. It would really wake up your car!
