Painted Hoods (Recommendation?)

Painted Hoods (Recommendation?)
I'm going to be in the market for my new hood soon ... and was wondering who everyone uses.
The catch is I'll need it "Pre-Painted" ... simply because I don't believe there's a single decent body shop here.
I'm really looking for the Cervini Concept Hood -- but would kind of like a selection to choose from.
-thanks-

RE: Painted Hoods (Recommendation?)
i say go with you gut. the concept hood will look great with the chin spoiler you got as well as the gt500 spoiler you're getting.
plus, you don't see many vista blue's with the concept hood (at least i haven't seen any)
it'll be a great addition.
good luck finding a pre-painted one.

I don’t know nay manufacture whom pre paints their hoods. Plus its never recommended because of the high rate or probability that it will get scratched before it gets to you. Not mention many body shops might have to make sure the color is the right one but then can only do that if the vehicle is there.

maybe you should call cervinis and see if they'll paint it for you before the ship it. if they do it, they might charge a bundle.
they have to have a proficient paint shop considering if you drop your car off at their hq and get the c300 - c500 kit, they have to match all the parts to your paint.
never hurts to ask.

I, too, have very limited options as far as body shops go. My best advice to you is do you homework and be willing to drive if that is what it takes. Don't settle on a shop close by or the first person who offers you a decent price. Ask for references, look at amount of experience, examine the shop and how it is kept up. This is what I did, and I ended up with someone who did a really good job for me.
Good Luck ! s ~
