Two or three times since I've owned my '06 GT, I've accidently released my key early before the engine started, and it sent my computer into complete confusion. Then it takes a couple of minutes of cranking and very rough idle before the engine wants to act right again.

Anyone else have this happen?

 

Yeah..a couple of times. usually tho, I just turn the key to the completely off position, wait a second and crank it again and eveyrthing is fine.

happens to the best of us.. hopefully not in front of a bunch of people.

 

lol,i just did this last night at a car meet in front of a bunch of people,lol,i beleive it floods out soon as you let off the key and thats why it takes a second to start after you do it.

 

Done it also... In front of people too... But nothing beats trying to do a burn out and not turning off the TCS!!! lol

ya what the hell are you guys talking about? iveh ad my car for 8 months now and have been driving for 5 years and never had this problem with any car lol

 

lol, its not a "problem" its just an embarrasing accident.

And yes, i have done it once or twice. And lmao at the burn out with TCS on.
