"Bad start" Anyone else ever do this?

RE: "Bad start" Anyone else ever do this?
How about having the same thing happen to a brand new 05 Swift Tormentor (my chopper) onits first, week long trip 1300 miles from home. Yep, happened to me. about the same thing as you describe but when I let go of the start switch my starter stayed engaged. Imagine how you would feel on a $35,000 bike in the midle of nowhere land. I had to push start the damn thing everytime I had to stop for gas until I made it to a Harley shop. Man that sucked.
Nice trip though.....
Oh I forgot.... My 07 does that also for a fewseconds on start up
