Default Tire size with new wheels?

Thinking about 20 inch wheels, just don't know what the best tire size would be?
going to go with 20x9 up front 20x10 on rear. Car is lowered 1.5 inches on all four. I don't really want a bigger gap between the wheel and fender.

Stock tires look like there 27.2 diameter, should I go to about 28 or stick close to the stock size? should rear be a little taller?

thanks for any help.

I went with 20/255/30 in the front and 20/285/335 in the rear. I wish I would have gone 20/255/35 in the front 20/285/40 in the rear.35 front and 40 rear will close the gap. 30 front and 35 rear is very close to stock. Which ever of the two you choose, you should be fine and very happy.

I went with 255/35 front and 295/30 rear. Close to factory size but the sidewall is pretty small. Should look pretty good since your car is already lowered though.

wouldn' 285/40/20 be to tall? I think they are an inch taller. seems like it would make the back look lifted?

put 295/40/20 on. it only raised the car half inch put 255/35/20 on front
gives car a nice look kinda like 70's muscle cars
