I tried the stripes on http://www.spectrummarcom.com/mustan...pePainter.html on legend line, It seems to be the only color on the mustang where stripes just don’t look right.
I almost purchased a 1970 mach 1 this lime color that had the blacked out hood with the shaker scoop, it looked good, but I seem to remember it was a flat black.

How about stripes similar to the ones on a 69 Boss 302? I like the stripes that everyone is putting on their 05s, but I want more of a retro look. Maybe the same two wide stripes, but instead of continuing them onto the front bumper, end them on the hood with a rounded edge and a pinstripe. Look at the Boss Mustang on page 50 of the May 05 Mustang Monthly.

Hawgman~ nice to see black on red, I have a car similar to yours, and I am torn between white or black. gotta have them stripes though...It makes the car stand out even more than it already does. What do you think of having them painted on? Only negative I can think of is that the guy I talked to quoted me 1000$... what do you think?

for what it is worth, my stripes are painted with clear over them.
