Where did you get the JLT CAI, because JLT doesn't have one listed for the 2005 Mustang GT on their website?

Why is it better than the C&L?

you can e-mail Jay@jltcoldair.com, but to order you must call him at 757 335 1940.

The website is getting completely redone and does not yet have the 05gt kit on there yet. I have e-mailed him and will call him tomorrow morning to order the kit. I will get back with you regarding my conversation.

A true cold air intake doesnt sit in the engine bay, it sits inside the fender.

good point, thats accurate. well, its a step above just putting a filter and MAF housing on the end of the skinny rubber stock intake hose!

I just ordered my JLT intake kit in Windveil Blue (extra $25) with their custom tune (extra $75). I also ordered, from a different company, the SCT xCalibrator ($375 includes PC interface cable and shipping). I should be getting them soon, so I will update everyone as to how it works out pre- and post-installation and dyno.
