Default RE: True CAI?

For those with the C&L cai. We used to do this in the late 60's at the strip to improve performance. Since the C&L intake is aluminun, Pack it in ice before your run for 20 minutes, or however long you can. The aluminum holds heat AND cold pretty well. You'll chill down the metal intake and really get COLD air. This'll make the metal intake superior to the JLT for this special application, although not for normal street racing.

ORIGINAL: GWFoos

I just ordered my JLT intake kit in Windveil Blue (extra $25) with their custom tune (extra $75). I also ordered, from a different company, the SCT xCalibrator ($375 includes PC interface cable and shipping). I should be getting them soon, so I will update everyone as to how it works out pre- and post-installation and dyno.
Please do, I am anxious to hear your results

I will certainly let everyone know. I expect it will have to be next weekend as I can't do the baseline dyno tomorrow like I wanted and the SCT xcalibrator is still 'in the mail'.
