looks kina bad.. if it was mine, i would take the heat shield off.. looks like all retarded.. if it wasnt bent to hell, then ya.. but i say take it out... other wise.. looks good..you need to clean that engine bay thats for sure

Yeah. It looked really good without the heat shield, but people suggested i put it on. Im guessing its not a neccesity? If not, im taking it off first thing tommorow. The thing i like about it is, that it gives the intake some support, otherwise the intake is just kind of hanging there off the TB.

It's not bigger. The soft cushiony stuff they give you is just over my heatshield, not actually on it. I have like 9 inches extra just lying there. Lol.

Is it possible to buy a new BBK heat shield?

Can you either bend the heat shield back to original, or maybe order a new one? With out the heatshield I don't think your getting much cold air into your cold air intake.

The thing circled is the abs. It should not get hot. I would get a new heat shield.
