Default O/R Xpipe

Did some search but i cant seem to find threads related to my questions. I want to know whats the difference between o/r X and the normal one. In sound and in performance. Which one give more performance and which one has a clearer deeper sound.

o/r means no cats

catless pipe will give you more gains and will be louder, but the gains are not big to begin with 5-7 hp for catless maybe.

x pipe is not really deep....a h pipe is the pipe that gives you the deeper sound, x pipe is raspier

so is it the same tone in sound but one louder than the other(cats vs no cats)? Or is there a difference in the tone of the voice?
