Infinity KAPPA 682.7CF tweeter setting, +3 or flat
I'm planning on installing 4 Infinity KAPPA 682.7CFs into my 07 Mustang and I was wondering what everyone else has set their tweeter to +3 or flat? I'd like to get it set up right so I don't have to rip everything apart again. I have a stock stereo. Thanks!

The thing with this poll, is everyone has a different standard of hwat they like. You may like flat better or visa versa. You need to try it out. Get your favorite CD, put into one position, listen for about 15 minutes, with the doors closed, the set it to the other. I found at +3, it was too much high end for my taste. But what is weird is in my truck I have them set to +3 because it sounded better that way in the truck.

actually +6db is twice as loud
he is challanging a guy with a name of "157db"
priceless
It is, because he's right. +3 db is what you get with double the power, or a second identical source and no interference. People perceive that as slightly louder, not twice as loud. I think you can test this for yourself with a stereo amp and two speakers.
