I have the factory Navi also, but mine has chrome around the two ***** for looks. That being said I would go aftermarket so you can watch DVD's. Factory unit does not allow movies. Factory unit does however seem to have amazingly good sound for a factory head unit, and the navigation works amazingly well and even has a ladies voice to give you step by step directions to your chosen destination.

no, actually 07, I have one in my car and yes its very expensive from the dealer but I got mine that way b/c I knew I wouldn't get it if I didn't

The Avic is $600 for a limited time and the Ford Navi is a $2000 option, but you can buy it for $500. You just have to buy the antena (very cheep) to wire it properly. It has superior navigation in my oppinion.
Navs and Factory wheels are sets of parts that are extremely overpriced, the wheels for my BMW were $5200 from the acessory catalog, but cost only $2000 from a reseller.
