It's offered as an option starting in 08

No idea how much it costs but I'm sure it could be installed in 05-07. Bet if it's dealer installed it costs a ton.

Those cost about $2000 while AVIC can be gotten from $500-$800 NEW. Same features I believe. Navi, DVD, Music, etc.

WRONG.

The Avic is $600 for a limited time and the Ford Navi is a $2000 option, but you can buy it for $500. You just have to buy the antena (very cheep) to wire it properly. It has superior navigation in my oppinion.

Navs and Factory wheels are sets of parts that are extremely overpriced, the wheels for my BMW were $5200 from the acessory catalog, but cost only $2000 from a reseller.

i was gonna get one, but then i decided against it, cuz i didn't want passengers in my car getting their grody fingers on it. i had finger smear on touchscreens. which is why no one touches my treo. lol.

if i ever get over this complex, i may get the z1, have only heard good things.
