i'd go with satin over chrome unless you want to constantly wipe off finger prints and be blinded everytime the sun hits it just right.

Regarding "Breaking" the *****: I believe whatyou arereferring to only applies to the Climate Control ***** (the three ***** for heat, A/C, etc) and then only to 2007+. I have a 2007 GT and installed the climate ***** from Silver Horse Racing. You do indeed have to pull the stock ***** hard and break them. Then the replacements snap in. Again, this is 2007+ only, the 05-06 are different *****.
