Magnaflow Catted X
I know this is beat to death but there are literally thousands of x pipe threads out there....
What kind of realistic gains would I be looking at by going with the catted magnaflow x system?

Anyone know why direct from Magnaflow the system is $1400 whereas summitt sells the same part number for $449?

I've heard x-pipes sound like crap with flows, anyone care to tell me how crappy?

the small HP gains aren't even worth mentioning. it will be noticably louder though.
you might also want to look into the Bassani catted X-Pipe. the cats are smaller, thus a couple additional ponies and even more sound (pretty loud actually).
i installed mine for sound alone. i understand the stock cats flow well, so if you're looking for HP - theres not much to tap from the exhaust other than from LTs.

I think you will pleasantly suprised at the gain from that.. Look at the following thread and read posts #26, 29, 30 ,and 32. https://mustangforums.com/m_2617783/mpage_2/tm.htm
