Default help 2005 v6 problem

Yesterday i got in my car and was driving down the highway when the check engine light came on followed by the dash alarm indicating that there was a low fuel error. The gas gage went to empty. Then the error all of a sudden went away and the gas gage went back up to full. The check engine light has stayed on and the system has flashed the error code every so often and the fuel gage will fluctuate from empty to where it should be. Anybody else have this problem or know what it might be? car has 38,000 miles on it.

try disconecting your battery for a few minutes to clear the computer. It might have a false code that it can't get rid of. If it comes back, sounds like stealership time[:@] It could have a bad gauge modual control

There is a TSB on this?
Too bad you are out of warranty. [:@]
