It feels better in my car. These tunes differ from car to car.. Bama's 93 tune is good.. but my car feels stronger overall with the brenspeed tune.

I did that.. and ended up going back to my brenspeed tune. I think he is just getting used to it.

The answer is ...

Bama 93 Race tune. Best tune for an Automatic.
Seriously?!! So you're saying that brenspeeds tune pulls better? I've never tried it!

That's the first time I have heard of turning the car off with the pedal depressed while doing the gas pedal thing. I normally depress the pedal slowly, the let off slowly, with it turned on all the time. It does make a bit of a difference...

That said, I make it a habit to re-load the tune just about every other week. Many times I will switch between Brenspeed and VMP tunes, as they both act different in the car, and both react differently to different brands of gasoline. Usually when I pop the trunk to dry the ledges, I just grab the tuner and re-load....It becomes habit after awhile....

Do you actually notice a difference when you reload the tune? That seems really odd to me, but mine seemed like it did the same(lost a little power)thing when I supercharged it. If you really can feel a difference then I'm going to try it.

Hm, this is intresting.
I could chirp 3rd when I got mine but I no longer can, even though I can't really "feel" a difference, it's freakin sweet to chirp 3rd in an auto, freaks your friends out.
I'm going to try the gas pedal thing.

1) I have heard that are car makes small adjustments as you drive the car....esp with an auto. Is that true?
2) I have heard that I can reload the tune to get that great feel and response back. Is that true?
3) Is there something that I have done or can do (other than reload) to fix or prevent this in the future?
4) Is it worth a call to brenspeed?
5) Has this happened to anyone else here on this forum?
1) Yes
2) Yes
3) You can recalibrate your throttle which may or may not help.
4) No, they'll probably tell you what everyone else is saying here.
5) Yes

The PCM has adapted to the tune.
Remove the battery lead for 20 mins or so
to reset the adaptive learning.
This works for me as well. When i go to the track i will reset my adaptive learning by disconecting the battery beforeI leavemy houseand my elapsed times are more consistent. If i don't reset it for some reason my trap speeds are lower and the et's are off by a .1 or so.
