I had a 98 GT and had a Borla side exhaust installed and absolutely loved it. It was built into the molding under neath the doors. Does any one know if any one offers this for the v6? My plans are to get this and then the steeda CAI. Any other mods you know of with out spending a fortune would be a lot of help. Thanks.

I asked a muffler shop about that and was told that it could not be done with the configuration of the '05 Mustang.

yes the muffler place i went to said it coudnt be done either. thety moved the gas tank up where the exuast would be, so if you somehow move the gas tank, then yes you could get it

thats right...the gas tank is in the way... the only exhaust mods ive seen for the v6 are from mac and jba...go look at their sites...other mods you can do for the v6 (trust me ive researched a TON) are CAI, xcalibrator, exhaust (headers/mufflers), oil filter, underpull cams, and a couple of other things...ill come bak and post em if i remember

Is this information for the v6 only? I saw an 05 mustang gt with the exact side exhaust I was looking for.
