me and deekum1627 are going to get tint along with a few others.. how dark do you think i should go??

 

I would go as dark as what is legally allowed. By law, the tint folks can't go darker than law allowance either.

 

well.. i can go as dark as i want.. law in NY is 70%on side windows and as much as uwant in the rear.. no way in hell am i doing that im doing atleast 35% on the drivers side and passenger and doing about 15% in the rear..

they will go as dark as you want....i say 20% atleast....i had 35 and hated it.....

 

i was originally thinkin 15%.. my friend has it on his silver rsx.. and i did like it i would even like to go darker but i dont need to be pulled over every day

15% is crazy dark at nite.

 

I bought my car in Tennessee (no tint laws) and it had 5% on the back and 15% on the sides. I have an all black (black exterior, black leather interior) and I thought it was too dark. I brought it back to NC and I had to get it taken off for inspection and I still have no aftermarket tint on. I would go 35% (lowest legal limit in NC) but I don't really think its worth $160 for that little tint. I don't think I would go lower than 15% if I were you (really dark not to mention easy for cops to notice). I would go 25-35% if you really want to get it done.

+1 35% is the legal limit here for the front windows, and you can barely tell its tinted. a lot of my friends have it, not worth the money.

ive seen a lot with 20%, looks good and doesnt black out too much. ive driven with cars that have 5-10% all around, and at night when your driving around a street with no lamps, its not a car you want to be in.

my opinion - 20%
