I thought i'd start an intersting thread to generate some ideas for myself for the ultimate mustang. I'd like you guys to list every single last mod you would do to your ultimate S197. The looks and supercharger choice are already locked in because those are so hard to agree on for everyone, so you'd have to decide on everything besides that.

This IS a thinking thread yes wow... you have to do more than make it look good and drive fast.

What specific extranious and realistic would you put on your ultimate car?

body mod to fit a 14" rim in the back

i'd make an exact replica body shell of the car with the cervinis eleanor kit out of carbon fiber. drop its weight to the extremes, then fit it with all the suspension parts, and throw in a saleen supercharged 4.6. that's about it.

My ultimate Mustang, basically a GT500 with 600-650whp.

But if I had to use my Mustang as a base:

GT500 front/rear bumper covers
Motor with forged internals and punched out to ~5.0L
KB supercharger
6 speed swap
Nice and quiet exhaust with electric cut outs.

Ultimate as in ultimate DD, dragster, road course racer, show car, all the above, or what? Kind of a vague question...

Well it's one based on personal prefference, but I would have to say ULTIMATE daily driver and occasional show car would be where I would go with any set of mods. Keep in mind we're assuming the body is already tricked out and looks amazing, and it has a bazillion rear wheel HP from a perfect engine upgrade. I'm wondering what sort of mechanical upgrades people like to do to their cars that are reasonable.
