Well if your going with no tune you can get: pullies 5-10hp and a 75shot nitrous. Why are you against getting a tune?

Not getting a tune is dumb. The first basics should be always intake, exhaust, and tune. UDPs and CMCVs wouldn't be a bad either.

Mods that'll give you lots of hp without a tune? None.

define "lots of horsepower"

Lots to me would mean at least 10% more. In the case of these cars that means 30hp+. The only things that will do that in one shot are CAI/Tune, nitrous, turbo, SC. Otherwise you are looking a group of smaller 'non-tune' mods and they won't net you 'lots of horsepower'

No tune:
some Cold air intakes (opinions vary, 10hp?)
Underdrive pulleys (3-5ish) no tune
coil on plugs (3-5ish) no tune
axelback exhaust...couple ofhp?, no tune

Needs tune
Top of the list for HP gains = CAI and TUNE (20-30 range)
CMCP deletes (3-5ish) needs tune
exhaust (LT headers, mid pipes, axelbacks, shorties, h-pipes, h-pipes... 5-30ish depending on the various componenets) usually yes to tune except for JUST ABs
agressive CAMs (depends) needs tune

which require a tune?

as many otherthreads have stated, resultant HP gains of individual componentsdo depend on the order and type of your bolt-ons. HP gains are not absolute and do not necessarily sum up neatly.

If your looking for SPEED and TRACTION maybe you should look into suspension and drivetrain parts, like some goodLCAs/UCA, rear swaybars to help keep her straight.Rear endGears(speedo re-cal required), an alum driveshaft( more RWHP), alum flywheel and gripper clutch(more RWHP). Ahigher stall torque converter so you can launch her hard(if your anauto)Sticky tires. Above all else theGOOD DRIVER MOD is the most importantAll that and besides recalibrating your speedo you still have the stock tune and untouched motor.

And when your ready to make some seriousPOWER, you can start looking into tunes cause honestly your going to need it. Besides small hits of N2O, I dont see anyone getting past 310-320 RWHP without some kind of tuning.

i don't know why people don't want to get a tune. it's obviously the best bang for the buck. that's the first thing i'm doing...it's the first thing TOO MANY have done. lol.

i've only read ONE negative thing about the tunes..and that's the steeda carbon fiber inlet warped a little. haha
