Looks like an awesome idea! I think I am going to do it! Shouldnt be too hard, I used to be a Car electronics installer for 3 years! However I dont have the Solder sucker.

I have soldered quite a few things. Depending on how hard it is to take the panels off I might do this. Most likely not all at once, slowly over time.

I think it looks awesome, but somehow I messed up my Stang just taking a valve cover off...now it is showing the engine failsafe mode message and not revving AT ALL for some *#&$&*(*(&^#&^$)&^&&* ^ reason. Anyway, maybe if I have a long vacation from work and a lot of time on my hands, I may try this.

Wouldn't be worried about the soldering. I just dont want to dismantle the interior... i am scared of scratching the plastic or breaking something that way.

p.s.- the desoldering tool (solder sucker) can be bought at radioshack or mcmelectronics.com
