I agree that people don't need to tell us "you shoulda bought this-car or that-car" (I've got a V6 also.) I just meant that I thought they should play nice.

I think it would be nice to have a section just on V6 since we can't get the same aftermarket parts and stuff that's already out for the GT. It would be nice for a place where we don't have to sit and sift through everything to find V6 specific. And I don't know about everybody else but I'll still go through the current forum section on the 05 I don't want to give that up but like I said it would just be nice to have a section where we can talk about things that peretain to our cars just like when they opened up a new forum for the 05.

I'm sorry so many times us V6 owners ask a question, and the only answer we get is "Well you shoulda bought a GT"

I just think it would be nice to have a sub-forum specific to our engines where we can get advice from those with the same engine we have.

And no, I don't want a seperate forum for the 'vert, and I own the 'vert. But nobody needs to feel 'macho' and tell me "well you shoulda bought the Coupe".
Excellent point. The main reason was to find info easier. It seems like more often not, I'll see a post entitled "New CAI for 2005 Mustang!" only to find out it's for the GT. I was just thinking it would be easier to have separate "subforums" under the 2005 Mustang forum that we could go to. Of course, we'd have the root 2005 Mustang forum to have our daily chatting, but if we wanted to ask a specific question without getting flamed for not buying a GT, we could go there.

I really think there are a lot of great people on this forum, but I am really tired of the non-GT owners getting flamed for wanting to beef their cars up.

Folks, I am not a big fan of the new Forums system either. I would encourage everyone to send a private message to Amanda (she is the site admin) and express your frustrations. I, too, currently wish there were at least some sub-headings for the 05 4.6 category, as well as for the 4.6 category. Let Amanda know how you feel!

Here's another great example from a thread currently near the top of the forums called "Why do the V6's ONLY have 210hp?"

who cares about the v6 lol

v8 only plzzzzzzzzz lol
Just goes to show it's hard for us V6 guys to have any kind of conversation without someone "chiming" in.

Down in the Classic section, we talk about 1964-73 year models and all the various engines that were available during those many years. I see no reason to split the 05 into many sub sections. Do you really have that many posts? And, if someone disses your V6, why not just ignore the comment?
