Default Flywheel install difficulty? vs headers

Yeah.. just curious how hard installing a flywheel is (which of course involves dropping the tranny). Also, on jack stands...

I went through hell and back installing headers on jack stands, but it certainly worked out.

Do the difficultys compare? Or make me happy and say flywheel is easier.

Just sounds more difficult to me just because you have to remove the tranny from the motor.

I just replaced my flywheel with an aluminum Fidanza flywheel. I also upgraded the clutch and replaced the release clyinder\bearings. Since the tranny is out it's probably a good choice. The whole job took me about 12 hours. I haven't driven the car yet because I am still doin mods, I am hoping for positive results.

Bottom line, if you are thinking about a new flywheel then get everything done while the tranny is out. You won't want to take it down again a later time. It is a labor intensive operation.

PS. These tranny's have hydraulic clutches and they are extrememly tough to bleed out.

Good luck
