Whitey,
When did they tell you the car would be available. I heard March 2006. But I can't confirm that.

McNasty, you are loco bro, Crazy. But I love the idea of owning that car and having the ***** to wait out the year and a half. In the end, when they only build 7000 of them and you are the MAN, the last year and a half won't mean Sh*t.

It will be tough... Just today I think I may have even have wet myself a little when I canceled the 05 order. But here is somthing to consider, and why I went ahead and did it...

First the "official" unofficial rumor is that it will be a total of 7500 built for the 07 line... Small numbers.. and I REALLY want to be unique. There are already a large number of Dew Body V6's and a few GTs here in my town.. [&:]

So that means there is a good possiblity I will have the only 07 Shelby in my area... Good for me...

Here is the other... I hate to say it... BUT Carol Shelby is 82 or is it 87 years old. He is old and this will in reality PROBABLY be the last Mustang to ever carry the "Shelby" name.... Sure they might release the 08 and it will be the same Shelby but it will not be/should not be a new design... So again that means that this will be a rare car...

Like Scaught said... these factors will make the piddly 18 months a drop in the pan for a car that I will probably have for 30 years... (fingers crossed)...

Am I loco? Hell yes I am loco...
