Autometer guage lighting connection??
hello,
where did you hook the guages up to? where and which wire did you use for the lighting? do the guages dimm with the rest of the dash? any info is appreciated. thanks.

i did this with mine.. but becareul.. i have to re-do it now, bc they only work when my headlights/parking lights are on.. if they are not on.. no power gets to the gauges.. so i have to figure out hwere i went wrong..
as far as where to hook up for the dim thing..
take that switch pannel that holds the dimmer and the light switch.. you will see a plug that has like 8-13 pins/wires.. the wire you want to tap for the dim, is i believe, the yellow wire with purple line.. or the second from the right pin..
heres a pic of when i did mine..

i know where i went wrong.. i put both, power and back light to the head light switch, where the power should be connected to something thats hot when the key is on, and the backlight to when the headlights are on...
i am gunna finally fix this crap once and for all..
