I have Tein H springs. I like the ride. It's a little stiffer than stock springs. The price of these is very reasonable too.
Here's a pic of my Tein H lowered stang...

I just got the s series ones but I also am ordering d-specs too. I think they are good springs and IMO you are paying for name with eibach steeda etc. Im pretty sure if you have qaulity shocks/struts the springs arent too much of a big deal. I did my research and alot of peeps like them and have no complaints. I got mine for 150 shipped off ebay.

were they easy to install? I saw them on Ebay at about 139 for a set and wondered if they were worth the buy.

to get the OE springs off the strut assembly and the new springs
on. Might as well replace those defective upper strut mounts with
the newly designed ones to get rid of the front end "chuckle".
8R3Z-18183-A cost $58.23 each.

The rears are easy but the fronts need a spring compressor

Was there a TSB or recall on this? What model years did this apply to? By "chuckle" do you mean clunking? My front seems solid with no noise.

Remember that the front of the Cali Spec is a little lower than a regular GT, so that pic isn't quite accurate if you have a GT. But...if you look at wheel gap, it should be the same for either.

How low of a drop are they? They look real clean.

The H model springs will drop you 0.9" in front and 1.7" rear. You can see how low that is in my picture above. I can't imagine going any lower.
The S model springs are 1.5" front and 2.2" rear.
